MYO is proud to be invited by the Kagoshima Prefectural Government to participate in a music and cultural exchange tour in Kagoshima, Japan, from 9 to 17 August 2010.

During the tour, MYO members will rehearse and perform alongside the renowned MBC Youth Orchestra of Kagoshima, presenting a concert of classical music at the Kagoshima Citizens' Culture Hall. Beyond the concert stage, students will have the opportunity to experience various aspects of Japanese culture through hands-on activities such as kendo, traditional music, arts and crafts, and cultural games. They will also enjoy Japanese hot springs, experience the unique sand bath of Kagoshima, and visit the iconic Mount Sakurajima volcano, among many other attractions.

Kagoshima 360° Tour offers MYO members a truly immersive experience that combines music, cultural exploration, friendship, and fun. It is a unique opportunity to learn, perform, and grow while discovering one of Japan's most fascinating regions.
