How can I register for an MYO event?

Please complete the registration or ticket purchase process through the relevant official event page. Each event may have different registration requirements and arrangements.

Are tickets guaranteed after I submit an RSVP?

Submitting an RSVP does not guarantee a ticket or confirmed participation. The automated confirmation email only confirms that we have received your RSVP. If there are any updates regarding ticket availability or the event, we will notify you by email with further instructions, including ticket purchase details where applicable.

What happens if the event is sold out?

Accepted Answer

If an event is sold out, you may join the waiting list to receive updates by email. Should additional tickets or places become available, we will notify participants on the waiting list accordingly.

How will I know if my ticket purchase is confirmed?

A confirmation email with your e-ticket will be sent to the email address provided during registration after your payment has been successfully completed. Please check your inbox, including your spam or junk folder, if you do not receive the email.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

No. Tickets and event places are non-transferable.

What happens if I can no longer attend the event?

We’re sorry that you’re unable to attend. Please note that tickets are non-refundable, except where an event is cancelled by MYO or otherwise stated in the specific event terms and conditions. Please consider your availability carefully before purchasing tickets.

What happens if the event is affected by bad weather?

MYO will make arrangements with reference to the latest weather conditions, relevant Hong Kong Observatory warnings and applicable official guidelines. For indoor events, the event may proceed under certain weather conditions, including when the Red Rainstorm Warning Signal or No. 3 Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal is in force, subject to the circumstances and MYO’s assessment. Parents are encouraged to exercise their own discretion when deciding whether their children should attend, taking into consideration local weather, road and transport conditions.If the Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or No. 8 or above Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal is in force 3 hours before the event, the event may be cancelled, postponed or otherwise rearranged depending on the circumstances. Please note that tickets purchased are non-refundable, including in the event of cancellation, postponement or changes due to adverse weather conditions.MYO will notify registered participants by email of any changes to the event arrangements. Please refer to the latest communication sent to the email address used for your ticket purchase or registration for the final event arrangements.
