Step 3: Beginners Program

• ABRSM Grade 1–3 or equivalent

• Begin ensemble training through weekly rehearsals and regular performances

Step 4: Advanced Orchestras

• ABRSM Grade 3 and above or equivalent

• Progress through five higher-level orchestras spanning both classical and pop-jazz styles

  • Metropolitan Youth Orchestra: provides orchestral training in classical music, nurturing technique, ensemble skills, and musicality

  • Metropolitan Pop & Jazz: empowers students to perform modern music from jazz and pop to film scores through improvisation and creative expression

• Students gain broader experience through concerts, flash mobs, overseas tours, and crossover performances
