Violin workshop with Master, Long Xi - August 5-9, 2019 

In a 5-day course, young enthusiastic violin students are offered the opportunity to learn from one of the very best violinist in town in a very close environment. Students would work on different classic violin repertoire and polish their playing and technique under the guidance of Mr Long.

Music Speed Reading with Colin Touchin - August 12-16, 2019

This course is designed for students who wish to boost their sight-reading skills in a short period of time for public exams. In this 5-day course various orchestral excerpts and training materials will be given. To train a strong rhythmic sense, students will be exposed to unprepared, unseen music to play at an assigned tempo in an ensemble setting. Under the instructor’s guidance students learn how to be smart when it comes to score reading.

Cello workshop with Master, Fang Xiaomu – August 19-23, 2019
In a 5-day course, young enthusiastic cello students are offered the opportunity to learn from one of the very best cellists in town in a very close environment. Students would work on different classic cello repertoire and polish their playing and technique under the guidance of Ms Fang.

Introduction to Ensemble
This foundation course is designed to prepare students to be an orchestra player. The course explains the fundamentals and essence as an orchestra musician and allows members to apply what they learn. The course focuses on following instructions from conductor, proper posture and attitude, technique of playing in an orchestra as well as all other essential knowledge of ensemble playing.
